The Sandhya theatre stampede issue is getting serious day by day. Today, in the Assembly session, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy fired on the Telugu film industry. Revanth Reddy said, “Did Allu Arjun lose a kidney, leg, or an eye? What was the need for the celebrities to rush to his residence to pay solidarity? Did anyone care about the injured boy? Did any celebrity go to the hospital to check on Sri Tej?”
Revanth Reddy made some serious allegations against the actor, which are now going viral on social media. The Chief Minister said, “The police department denied the government for Allu Arjun’s visit to theatre. Even then, he came for the premiere show. A stampede occurred due to the massive turnout. A lady died on the spot, while her son got heavily injured. Police informed Allu Arjun about the woman’s death, but the actor stayed inside the theatre.”
Revanth Reddy added, “That woman held her son’s hand even in her death. Hero’s private bouncers didn’t allow the police to go near him. The boy was taken to the hospital and police came back to explain the severity of the situation to Allu Arjun. Only after the Police threatened to arrest him, Allu Arjun left the theatre. Even then, he stood on the car’s rooftop waving to the crowd. What kind of a human is he?”
The behavior of the celebrities in connection to this issue has triggered the Telangana government, and CM Revanth Reddy made it clear that there won’t be any benefit shows and ticket rate hikes from here on in the state. It’s going to be a tough time ahead for Tollywood in the Nizam region.
