On Sunday evening, several miscreants who claimed to be members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OUJAC) vandalized Allu Arjun’s residence. The attackers demanded Allu Arjun pay Rs 25 lakhs to the widower of Mrs. Revathi, who tragically lost her life in a stampede that took place during Allu Arjun’s visit to the Sandhya 70mm theater during the Pushpa 2 premiere on December 4.
On Sunday night, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy took to X and condemned the attack on Allu Arjun. And it’s the state minister of Cinematography Komatireddy Venkatareddy’s turn to condemn the attack on Allu Arjun. The minister, along with Naveen Yerneni and Ravi, the producers who bankrolled Pushpa 2: The Rule, visited Revathi’s son Sritej, who’s undergoing treatment at KIMS Cuddles. Both Naveen and Ravi handed over a cheque for Rs 50 lakhs to Revathi’s husband.
Addressing the media after his visit, Komatireddy urged everyone to not politicize the issue and also condemned the attack on Allu Arjun and warned of strict action against those targeting film personalities. The senior leader went on to assure that the Telugu film industry is not relocating to Andhra.
