RRR: Behind and Beyond, the much-talked-about documentary on the making and spirit of SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster action drama, RRR, first had a modest run in cinemas across the country earlier this month. The film recently premiered on Netflix, and it has been making a lot of noise on social media ever since.
Rajamouli took to Instagram this morning and gave a shout-out to the young team that made RRR Behind and Beyond what it is today. Rajamouli hailed his fanboy Pradeep of Walls and Trends and his teammates and fellow Rajamouli fans, Editors Sirisha and Vamsi. “Finding the right material in 20TB of data is not an easy job. Comments like the documentary is more emotional than the film itself are a testimony to their talent. Proud of you all,” the master filmmaker wrote in his post.
Released in cinemas worldwide in March 2022, RRR, starring NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, Shriya, and others in key roles, went on to become a massive hit at the box office. The film also scripted history by winning the prestigious Academy Award for Best Original Song for the global chartbuster, Naatu Naatu.
