30 Weds 21 is one web series that has become a hot topic on social media. The show is getting wide recognition and Ananya, the heroine of the show has become quite famous. On this occasion, we spoke to her for an exclusive interview. Here is the transcript.
How is the response to your show, 31 Weds 21?
While shooing for the show, we knew that it is going to click. But we never imagined such a kind of response from the audience. The numbers are shocking and I myself am surprised to see so much written about me all over. I am thrilled with the response.
Tell us about your background?
I am born in Warangal and brought up in Hyderabad. I am doing my third year of engineering. Like any other youngster, I too was fascinated by films. So, did a lot of shows and plays in college and auditioned for the Chai Bisket show. Luckily, I got this part and here I am.
How is your family reacting to all the recognition?
My parents have always been supportive of my work and had put no objections to me pursuing an acting career. My mom is busy answering calls from relatives and she is super proud. She has already watched the show multiple times.
How did you go about playing the role of Meghana, who is 21?
The moment I heard the script, I was in love with my character. Some of the facets of Meghana who is bold and on your face nature are similar to mine. But there are also some characteristics that I pulled through with the help of my director.
Tell us about your director Prithvi Vanam?
He has done a superb job. Already, he had a good script in hand, and not once he troubled me during the shoots for perfection. We used to discuss a lot and my hero, Chaitanya garu also helped a lot with my performance to enhance it.
Your chemistry with hero Chaitanya is impressive. Tell us about him?
He is the main key to our show and has been there for a long time. He did a solid job and his performance in the last episode is my favorite. He gave me good support and it is because of him our chemistry has worked well.
Tell us about the making of the show?
Chai Bisket our banner has gone all out and has encouraged people like me a lot. I had a wonderful time working with them. They do not make shows for the numbers and money. We shot the show for about a month and had a solid time.
Future plans?
I am new to the industry and taking things one at a time. I am enjoying all the success and would love to pursue my career in films. I have no boundaries set and am ready to do films, OTT, and Youtube as well. As of now, I am waiting for one good opportunity.
