How did this project kickstart?

Director Soundar Rajan came to me and said that he wanted to attempt a film which would have space as the backdrop. I was thrilled with the idea but many were against it. But both I and my director proved everybody wrong and have come up with India’s first space-based film which will impress everyone.

About your role in the film?

I play a key member in the space defense division and my role will be like that of an escape artist. How I enter the space mission and escape a crucial problem is the whole story of the film all about.

Your film will be compared to a lot of Hollywood films. What do you have to say?

There is nothing wrong in comparing our film with Hollywood projects. I can confidently say that our film will be no less to any English film as the visuals will be quite breathtaking.

What kind of problems did you face while shooting the film?

The director faced a lot of troubles shooting the film. It was his vision and to get things rights, he had to do a lot of homework and sit with the visual effects team for to get the output right. The VFX work was done for over 5 months and the visuals will be the special highlight of the film.

Your son also makes his debut with this film. How was it working with him?

As I was going through the film, there was a small role for a young kid. I asked my son and he readily accepted the offer and came on board. He also plays my reel life son in the film and I had a great time shooting with him.

Basic highlights of the film?

The space episode in the film starts 20 minutes before the interval and continues right till the end. The fights, VFX, and the thrilling journey will be the major highlights of the film.
