Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar is up for a grand release on August 11th. The movie, directed by Meher Ramesh, has the lovely beauties Tamannaah Bhatia and Keerthy Suresh in important roles. Produced by AK Entertainments, Mahati Swara Sagar composed the tunes. Ahead of the release, we had a brief interaction with Keerthy Suresh, and here is the transcript.

Previously you acted as Rajinikanth Garu’s sister, and now you have played Chiranjeevi Garu’s sister. How do you feel about this?

I am very happy about it. After I completed Rajinikanth Garu’s Annatthe, the Bholaa Shankar team approached me. Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu and Superstar Rajinikanth Garu are two legends, and I am very pleased to have shared screen space with them. I have also danced with Chiru Garu in Bholaa Shankar. It is my dream to dance with Chiranjeevi Garu, but in Bholaa Shankar, I am fortunate enough to dance with Megastar Garu in two songs.

How is your role going to be in the film?

Bholaa Shankar is based on brother-sister bonding. Apart from the brother-sister emotion, Bholaa Shankar will have all the ingredients that one expects from a commercial film. To put it in simple terms, it is a perfect entertainer.

Your mother acted with Chiru Garu in the past. Did she share anything about him with you?

My mother acted with Chiru Garu in the Punnami Nagu film. My mom shared a lot of things with me. She told me about Chiru sir’s energy, dedication, and the kind of suggestions he would give on the sets. Chiru sir used to show a lot of care for her, and he guided her like a small child. I told these things to Chiru sir, and he remembers everything that has happened in the past, which isn’t easy.

Did Chiranjeevi Garu give you any suggestions on the sets?

He gave me very valuable suggestions. I used to get food from Sir’s house every day. After a few days, I started asking sir the kind of food I wanted to have. We always discussed food, and the entire shoot was an awesome journey.

Tell us about your combination scenes with Tamannaah

Tamanaah Garu’s comedy will be one of the highlights of the film. The combination scenes of Chiru Garu and Tamannah will be fun to watch. Currently, Tamannaah is the talk of the town, and is lucky to act alongside Superstar and Megastar at a time.

Could you tell us about Meher Ramesh?

When Meher Ramesh Garu narrated the story, I wasn’t ready as I had just done a sister role in Annaatthe. But he wanted me to play the sister role. He treats his actors well and knows the audience’s pulse. I treat Meher Garu as my brother.

Your costumes look good in every film. What steps do you take for it?

I do what is required for the character. Whatever I do will be based on what the character actually demands. I take immense care of my styling. In Bholaa Shankar, my costumes look very colorful. The movie came out very well.
