Nagarjuna is all over the place these days. His latest production, Nirmala Convent is up for release and on this occasion, we caught up with him for a brief interview. Here is the transcript.

What do you have to say about Srikanth’s son Roshan ?

The way he spoke at the audio launch impressed me completely. He looks handsome and is quite talented. I feel that he is here to stay and will go a long way in his career.

About your role in the film ?

I play one of the most key roles in the film and am present throughout the second half. I had a lot of fun playing a supporting character for the first time.

Your relation with Srikanth ?

Both of us go a long way back. I have worked with him in many films and treat him like a younger brother. I am very happy and proud that I am launching his son in Tollywood.

Any reason behind leaving Meelo Evaru Koteswarudu ?

I have done three seasons and have an emotional connect. I feel that we should move on with things at the right time and when the show is a super success. I am even more happy that Chiranjeevi garu has taken up that show and will take it to the next level.

When can we see you in a multi-starrer again ?

As of now, I am busy with my film and am producing two films with my sons. I had promised them that I will select good projects for them and see that they attain huge success with it.

Progress about Om Namo Venkatesaya ?

The film is nearing completion and we are doing extensive CG work. Rjamouli has lifted the standards of special effects quite high and we do not want to make our film look silly. So extensive work is on and we will announce a release date when the correct time comes.

Did you buy the Krishna region rights of Baahubali 2 ?

Laughs ! All these are baseless rumours and have no truth in it.

Finally, tell us about both your son’s weddings ?

As it is a personal issue, I will call for a special press meet and speak about it openly soon.
