Young actor Nara Rohit, who developed a knack for trying out offbeat movies like Baanam, Prathinidi, Rowdy Fellow, is currently enjoying the success of his latest outing Asura. Now, he has multiple projects like Savitri, Pandagala Vachadu, Appatlo Okadundevadu ,up his sleeve and he is busy shooting for them simultaneously. On the eve of his birthday tomorrow ( July 25th), we caught up with him for a brief interview. Let’s see what he has to say.

Q) Firstly, Wishing you a advance happy birthday. What decisions are you planning to take on this birthday ?

A) Thanks. I decided to accomplish a lot of things through out this year. I want to release 4 to 5 movies this year which is contrary to the previous years in my career. I also decided to cut down my weight to appear in a new look. This year will be a special one for me.

Q) How is your career post the success of Asura?

A) Very fine. In fact, now there is a lot of responsibility on me. I am trying my best to work out the commercial formula with a different script.

Q) How is your feeling on turning a producer ?

A) It is a good feeling to turn a producer. I don’t mind acting and producing at the same time. I can manage them although they are quite different from each other. I am happy that I will now have a chance to produce movies with other actors as well.

Q) Just analyzing the career so far, How does it make you feel ?

A) It is absolutely fine as far as the career is concerned, but I regret not doing more movies. I am now focused on doing commercially viable movies.

Q) Are you interested in taking up direction in future?

A) No. I can only judge the script but I cannot pen down a subject for a movie. As of now, I am not interested to take up direction.

Q) What type of movies do you love to watch ?

A) I love to watch romantic, war and sports genre movies.I drew a lot of inspiration from them. Coming to my movies, I am doing subjects which ever I am offered, but doesn’t know the pulse of the audience in the current generation.

Q) It is heard that you are planning to do a multi-starrer with NBK. Is it true?

A) No,as of now I haven’t decided on this project. But, I love to act in multistarrers and will do them if I find a good script.

Q) What projects are you currently working on ? How many have you signed ?

A) ‘Shankara’ is my upcoming film which is set for an August release. In September, Pandagala Vachadu will release. I am also planning to release a couple of films by the end of this year.
