Anubhavinchu Raja is up for a release this Friday and on this occasion, we caught up with Raj Tharun for a brief interview. Here is the transcript.

What excited you about this film?

The role of Bangaram attracted me the most. From the day I heard the script, I was dying to do this Bangaram character which is full of fun. Also, the role of a security guard gave me the scope to evoke comedy.

Your working experience with Kashish Khan?

She is a top actor and will be a great talent in Telugu. Kashish has worked so hard on her role and spoke her dialogues in a go. She has now become a very good friend of mine.

Your bonding with the Annapurna banner?

It is the home banner and as they have launched me, the loyalties are always there. I have done three films in the banner and they have always come up with some good roles for me in my career.

What are the highlights of Anubhavinchu Raja?

Apart from the comedy, there is a good father-son emotion and also a story about a small village. We have not shown any message and only narrated the film in an entertainer manner.

Tell us about your upcoming films?

My next film, Stand Up Rahul is in post-production mode and Mass Maharaja’s shoot will start soon. I am also listening to a few good scripts which I will sign soon.

You started on a promising note but things have not worked out. How do you feel?

I have done 14 films so far and I feel blessed to even do so many films. I never came to Hyderabad and the day I decided to do it, I got a good break and here I am with close to four films in my career. What else can I ask?

Will you do ever do OTT projects?

As of now, I am ready to do different projects. I have no qualms about doing web series. In fact, I got a very big offer for a web series but could not do it due to a lack of dates.
