After giving back to back flops, Sreenu Valtla is back with his new film AAA. As the film is ready for a release soon, we caught up with him for a detailed interview. Here is the transcript.

How did this project materialize?

Post the debacle of Mister, I took a break and readied this script with new writers for over eight months. Once I wrapped up the film, I took it to Ravi Teja and he liked the point and here we are ready with the release.

Why did you choose Ravi Teja for this film?

Ravi Teja is one of my very close friends and the moment I was writing the story, the only actor who came to my mind was him. As he is a huge Amitabh Bachchan film, we named the title as Amar Akbar Anthony which is perfectly apt for this story. Ravi Teja has always been my friend and credit should go to him for accepting my film in such crucial time of my career.

Was roping Ileana your choice?

Yes, it was my choice. Even she came to my mind for this role but initially, she said no to the film. But later, things worked out some how and she is one of the special attractions of our film.

Elaborate the film for us?

The film is entirely based on Ravi Teja’s role which has three shades. Is he doing a triple role or is he all in one, you need to watch the film to find out. Ravi Teja will be seen in different avatars and will lead from the front in the entertainment department.

Working with a banner like Mythri Movie Makers?

The film had a good budget and was set in the US. It is only because of Mythri we managed to shoot there in such good locales. Our film has actors like Laya doing key roles and in many other key aspects, there were the ones who made things happen.

What have you learned from your failures?

Failures have made me strong like never before. I was very careful this time around and have come up with a good film. I feel that the film will surely hit the right note and I will prove my point.

Your future projects?

I am eagerly waiting for the release of AAA and seeing the film’s result, I will see what kind of a film to do next.
