2018 director’s pan-India multi-starrer with top Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam heroes?

Malayalam actor-filmmaker Jude Anthany Joseph created history with his recent directorial, 2018. Based on the devastating 2018 Kerala floods, the film ended up as the first-ever Rs 200 crore grosser in the Malayalam film industry, thereby creating a new industry record in Kerala.

Today, an official announcement on Jude’s next project as a director was made, and the film will be bankrolled by the leading Tamil production house, Lyca Productions. Apparently, Jude is planning to make a pan-India multi-starrer featuring the acclaimed Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi, top Malayalam hero Nivin Pauly and leading Kannada star Sudeep.

Jude is said to be in talks with the above three stars currently, and Lyca Productions is expected to make an official announcement regarding the movie’s cast and crew in August.
