Santosh Sivan is acclaimed for his award-winning work in movies such as Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar, Dil Se, Dalapathi, and Roja, and many countless classics. He collaborated with Mahesh Babu for the first time on AR Murugadoss’ Telugu-Tamil bilingual action thriller, Spyder, in 2017. Even though the film had ended up being a colossal flop at the box office, Santosh’s work was well appreciated.

Santosh Sivan recently shot the Malayalam anthology film, Olavum Theeravum. His upcoming movie, the ambitious historical magnum opus Barroz, is gearing up for its theatrical release on December 26. Mollywood stalwart Mohanlal plays the titular role in the movie, which also marks his directorial debut.
