For the past few days, social media has been abuzz with the rumor that Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly would be released on January 10, 2025. It was projected that Ajith’s film would have a direct clash with Ram Charan starrer Game Changer. Things really got heated up with this gossip, and Ajith fans have been on cloud nine ever since the rumor originated.

Much to the shock of Ajith fans, Good Bad Ugly producer Mythri Naveen Yerneni indirectly confirmed that the film won’t arrive for Sankranthi/Pongal. Yesterday, the Pushpa 2 team conducted an event in Chennai. Mythri Movie Makers is the production house for this much-awaited sequel. During this event, Mythri Naveen was asked to provide an update regarding Good Bad Ugly.

Mythri Naveen said, “We are nearing the completion of the shoot. We have another seven days of shooting left. We will announce the date soon. We announced multiple times that we are planning to come for Pongal, but………… The movie came out very well. We are so confident that our debut Tamil film will be a huge blockbuster.”

With no confirmation from the producer about the Pongal slot, it’s safe to conclude that Good Bad Ugly is out of the festival race, and this is surely disappointing news for Ajith fans. Trisha plays the female lead, while Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer of this biggie.
