One more popular South Indian film has been remade in Bollywood. Soorarai Pottru (Aakaasam Nee Haddhu Ra in Telugu), which originally starred Suriya, now gets a Hindi makeover under the direction of Sudha Kongara. The Hindi remake, titled Sarfira, features Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
The makers have released the official trailer, and fans are pleased to see that the plot remains largely unchanged, a testament to Sudha Kongara’s commitment to the original story. The trailer introduces Akshay Kumar as Vir Mhatre, a man determined to provide affordable air services to the public.
In this remake, Paresh Rawal reprises his role as Paresh Goswami, while Radhika Madan joins the cast as Akshay’s love interest, promising an emotionally engaging storyline. Additionally, Suriya, who played the main lead in the original, makes an appearance in the trailer, leaving viewers intrigued about his role in the remake.
