Today, the Pushpa 2 team held a “Thank You India” press meet in New Delhi to celebrate the film’s entry into the coveted Rs. 1000 crore club. Speaking on the occasion, Allu Arjun said, “This is not just love but wild love. I would also like to thank every state government and police departments from all states. Without their help, a release of this scale wouldn’t have been possible. It’s our country’s victory, not just mine.”

AA Films’ head, Anil Thadani, who distributed the film in Hindi, said, “For these benchmarks, I would like to thank the audience worldwide. I am so glad to be a part of this historic film. I wish Pushpa 2 hits the Rs. 2000 Cr mark.” One of the producers, Naveen Yerneni, said that Sukumar is a magician who works non-stop.

The other producer, Ravi Shankar, said, “Financial success makes us happy, but real happiness comes when the stakeholders are overjoyed. Anil Thandal did a brilliant job in releasing our film in North India and overseas. Allu Arjun Garu’s hard work is unparalleled. He was hung onto the ropes for 32 days while shooting the climax portions.”

When asked what his favorite sequence from ‘Pushpa 2’ is, Allu Arjun said, “I am saying this as an Indian. Everytime I say ‘Jukega nahi’, it’s my favourite moment. The film is not just about my character. It’s about the attitude of every Indian. Records are meant to be broken. In the next six months, some other film might break Pushpa 2’s records. That’s what growth is all about.”
