Hero Nani unveiled the much-awaited theatrical trailer for Kollywood star Sivakarthikeyan and star heroine Sai Pallavi’s soon-to-release multi-lingual action drama, Amaran. The film is a biopic based on Indian Army Major Mukund Varadarajan, who sacrificed his life in the service of the nation.
Amaran’s trailer offers a sneak peek into Major Mukund Varadarajan’s simple yet endearing family life and his inspiring heroics at the Line of Control. The trailer opens with touching real-life footage of Major Mukund and his daughter and goes on to showcase a few glimpses of his family. The Amaran trailer pays tribute to Major Mukund’s bravery and sacrifice while protecting the country’s border from the terrorists. Star composer GV Prakash Kumar’s soul-stirring score elevates the emotions and heroism.
Amaran is written and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, produced by legendary actor-filmmaker Kamal Hassan, R. Mahendran, and Sony Pictures International Productions, and co-produced by God Bless Entertainment. Tollywood star Nithiin’s father Sudhakar Reddy and sister Nikhitha Reddy will be releasing Amaran’s Telugu version. The film is slated for release as a Diwali festive treat on October 31.
