Anjali was last seen in Gangs of Godavari which was a huge flop at the box office. Now, she is ready with a web series titled Bahishkarana and will stream on Zee 5.
The popular actress will be seen in the role of Pushpa, a courtesan. Speaking about the series, Anjali says that playing Pushpa in Bahishkarana has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. The character’s journey from a naive courtesan to a woman who finds strength and courage against all odds is both challenging and immensely inspiring.
Bahishkarana has been directed by Mukesh Prajapathi and produced by Prashanti Malisetti of Pixel Pictures Pvt Ltd. The series has Ravindra Vijay, Ananya Nagalla, Shritej, Shanmukh, Mahboob Basha, and Chaitanya Sagiraju in lead roles. Watch this space for more updates.
