The next Tamil director to join this elite list is Pa. Ranjith, who is known for his films Kabali, Kaala, and Sarpatta Parambarai.
His next film, Thangalaan, will be released this year. During an interview, Pa. Ranjith confirmed that he will soon make a Hindi film. Rumors stated that Ranveer Singh would play the lead role in Pa. Ranjith’s Hindi debut film, but the director said that the casting process is yet to be completed.
Thangalaan, featuring Vikram, is a PAN-Indian film, and if it succeeds, it will surely provide Pa. Ranjith with mammoth offers. On the other hand, Pa. Ranjith is also backing Dhruv Vikram and Anupama Parameswaran’s untitled film under his production house Neelam Productions.
