Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is slated for release on 10th April. The makers are promoting the movie well, and in an interview, the film’s director, Ali Abbas Zafar, said that they didn’t disclose the important and surprising elements in the trailer.
A video of the film’s producer, Vashu Bhagnani, is now doing rounds on social media. The video began with Vashu Bhagnani’s son, Jackky Bhagnani, expressing his excitement ahead of the release. Vashu Bhagnani then said that the movie would surely earn 1100 crores at the worldwide box office and asked the fans not to worry. Well, this statement didn’t sit well with netizens, who are opining that the producer is being overconfident.
Crossing 1000 crores gross isn’t a piece of cake, and till now, only six Indian films (Dangal, Baahubali 2, RRR, KGF 2, Pathaan, and Jawan) have achieved this monumental feat. The point that needs to be noted here is that all these six films had massive hype before their release, and all of them had humongous contribution from overseas markets.
Even Animal, which had gigantic hype, fell short of the four-digit mark. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has decent hype among the masses, and it might rake in good box office numbers, but it is highly unlikely for it to go near the 1000 crore mark. The team is being trolled on social media for such a statement.
