Kacheguda’s iconic theatre Tarakarama was reopened today by Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna. Narayan K Das Narang, the legendary film personality, along with his sons Suneil Narang and Bharat Narang, renovated the iconic Tarakarama theatre in Kachiguda for the respect he has for Sr. NTR. Producer Sirish was also part of the event.
Speaking on occasion, he wished his legendary father, NTR Garu, who completes 100 years soon. He said that Tarakama theatre has a great history and said whatever his father does, he will make sure it remains in history. NTR Garu had a great vision and added that NTR Gau excelled in all genres.
Balakrishna said NTR Garu is an inspiration to all the Telugu people. Balakrishna spoke about how NTR fought and brought the film industry to Telugu states when it was in Madras. Basavatharakam cancer hospital was built in memory of his mother, and the theatre was named after his beloved parents, said Balakrishna.
Balakrishna said the theatre started in 1978 with Akbar Saleem Anarkali. He added after that, the theatre was reopened once again in 1995 due to a few unknown reasons, and now it is the third time they have started it. Balakrishna said that the theatre had many successful films, and his son Mokshagna was also named in the theatre.
Balakrishna thanked Narayan Das and his family and wished their relationship would continue this way. He expressed his opinion that having reasonable ticket prices would bring more audiences to the theatres. Balakrishna also spoke highly about the Telugu industry, which has been reaching new heights lately.
