Balayya gives clarity on Mokshagna’s debut film launch postponement
Published on Dec 6, 2024 1:00 am IST

Nandamuri scion Mokshagna is all set to make his acting debut in Tollywood. The young hero’s launchpad project will be directed by Hanu-Man fame Prasanth Varma. Touted as a fantasy drama, the film is part of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU).

It’s well known that Mokshagna’s debut film was supposed to have its opening ceremony today (Dec 5). Grand arrangements were made for this high-profile event, with Andhra Pradesh minister Nara Lokesh as the chief guest. However, the ceremony was cancelled at the last minute without any official announcement.

Amid non-stop speculations, Mokshagna’s father, Nandamuri Balakrishna, opened up about the launch ceremony and put an end to the rumors. Interacting with the media during a showroom opening in Kakinada on Thursday, Balayya said that the launch ceremony was postponed as Mokshagna has been feeling unwell for the past couple of days and that things aggravated overnight, eventually resulting in the postponement. “Mokshagna has the support and blessings of his fans and grandfather. The launch ceremony will take place very soon,” assured Balayya.

This as-yet-untitled film will be bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri under his SLV Cinemas banner in association with Legend Productions. Balayya’s younger daughter, M. Tejeswini Nandamuri, is presenting the movie.
