Popular Bollywood and Marathi actor Shreyas Talpade, well known for his roles in superhits such as Om Shanti Om, the Golmaal series and Poster Boys, reportedly suffered a heart attack on Thursday evening. The 47-year-old actor shot for his upcoming film, Welcome to the Jungle, the entire day and complained of chest pain upon reaching home. His wife immediately rushed him to the Bellevue Hospital in Andheri West, where he reportedly collapsed.

The hospital authorities confirmed, “Shreyas Talpade is admitted. He was brought late in the evening. His health update is awaited.” Shreyas reportedly underwent an angioplasty on Thursday night. He was said to be all fine while shooting for Welcome to the Jungle and didn’t show any signs of discomfort on set. He even shot for a minor action sequence today.

Apart from playing a key role in Welcome to the Jungle, Shreyas will also be lending his voice for Tollywood star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Raj character in the highly-anticipated pan-India action drama, Pushpa The Rule. Fans and well-wishers from the film industry are taking to social media to wish the actor a speedy recovery.
