Mega fans who were a bit disappointed with the songs of Bro breathed a sigh of relief with the film’s trailer, which was neatly packed with fun and emotional elements. Powerstar was at his absolute best in the trailer, demonstrating his comedy timing and powerful screen presence. Sai Dharam Tej also made his mark.
Fans thanked director Samuthirakani for showcasing vintage Pawan Kalyan. In 24 hours of its release, the trailer clocked a record-breaking 27 million real-time views and over 500K likes on Youtube. The trailer suggested that Bro would be an out-and-out family entertainer.
Now all the eyes are on the box office openings of this fantasy comedy-drama. The movie won’t have those mass elements that fans generally expect from a Pawan and Sai Dharam Tej starrer. The word is that Bro is catered towards family audiences. Hence it would be interesting to see the kind of start Bro would be getting at the ticket windows.
If the content appeals to family audiences, then the sky will be the limit for the box office rampage in the long run. But the main question now is how much the movie would rake in on its opening day. Sai Dharam Tej’s last film Virupaksha was lapped up by the audiences big time, and it would be exciting to see him act alongside his uncle. Bro releases on 28th July.
