Aamir Khan, who is hailed as the Mr. Perfectionist, hasn’t been in great form lately, as his last two releases, Thugs Of Hindustan and Laal Singh Chaddha, fell way short of expectations. The star actor will be next seen in Sitaare Zameen Par, a sports comedy-drama directed by R.S. Prasanna of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan fame. The movie is slated for release during Christmas 2024.

As per the buzz in Bollywood media, the biggie will not make it to the theatres during the Christmas season. A report in Hindi media mentioned that the Sitaare Zameen Par team requires more time for post-production activities and doesn’t want to compromise on quality. The report further noted that the delay can be up to three months.

However, the makers have not given any official statement regarding the postponement. Sitaare Zameen Par is based on the critically acclaimed Spanish film Champions. Genelia Deshmukh is essaying another lead role. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao are providing this flick.
