If the ongoing buzz in Kollywood circles is anything to go by, fans of Tamil star Suriya are in for a huge disappointment. As per the latest buzz, the actor’s most eagerly awaited action-fantasy drama, Kanguva, is said to have been postponed due to a delay in the VFX work. However, the makers are yet to confirm the postponement.

Kanguva was originally scheduled to hit theaters on October 10 as a Dasara festive treat. However, the buzz has it that the film has now been pushed to October 31 as a Diwali treat for fans. It’s worth mentioning that Kanguva was in a clash with Superstar Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan, which is also releasing in cinemas on October 10. Needless to say, the postponement news has come across as a major shocker for Suriya fans, and they are actually waiting for the Kanguva makers’ clarification.

Kanguva’s recently released song and promos have set expectations soaring. Fans are excited to witness Suriya in the never-before-seen role of a tribal warlord. The Siva directorial also features Bollywood stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in lead roles. Studio Green’s Gnanavel Raja is the producer, while Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer for Kanguva.
