Natural Star Nani scored the biggest hit of his career with the rural action drama Dasara. Young filmmaker Srikanth Odela announced his arrival in style with Dasara. Srikanth has once again joined hands with Nani for another film, tentatively titled NaniOdela2. Recently, the pooja ceremony was conducted in Hyderabad.

Previously, a rumor went viral on social media that Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor would be roped in as the female lead opposite Nani. However, according to the latest speculations, not Janhvi Kapoor but Shraddha Kapoor is said to be the front runner for the leading lady role. Shraddha recently starred in Stree 2, which became an all-time industry hit of Hindi cinema.

If Shraddha comes on board for NaniOdela2, it will be her second Telugu film after Prabhas starrer Saaho. According to reports, Anirudh will score the tunes for this flick, which will revolve around politics. Sudhakar Cherukuri, who produced the blockbuster Dasara, will bankroll this new project under the SLV Cinemas banner.
