PAN India star Prabhas is working with KGF director Prashanth Neel on the action entertainer Salaar which has every chance to erase the previous box office records. Salaar is slated for a grand release on 28th September 2023. Meanwhile, it is announced that the new film of Bollywood star hero Akshay Kumar ‘The Great Indian Rescue,’ will hit the big screens on October 5, 2023.

This is India’s first coal mine rescue film and is based on a real-life incident according to which a person named Jaswant Singh risked his own life to save the lives of miners during a coal mine collapse. Parineeti Chopra is playing a crucial role. Akshay’s last few releases have turned out to be massive disappointments, and now his new film is releasing a week after Salaar.

Salaar has a huge craze all over, and if at all this Prabhas starrer gets a positive talk it will set the box office on fire in the Hindi belt too. If that happens, the box office prospects of The Great Indian Rescue will take a toll. Tinu Suresh Desai directed The Great Indian Rescue, while Jackky Bhagnani bankrolled it.
