Nayanthara, the celebrated “Lady Superstar” of Kollywood, is currently embroiled in a series of issues following the release of her wedding documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale, on Netflix.

The first controversy unfolded when actor Dhanush filed a lawsuit against Nayanthara, her husband and director Vignesh Shivan, and Netflix. He accused them of using a few seconds of his copyrighted material (a clip from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan) without permission and demanded Rs. 10 crore in compensation. Nayanthara responded with a public statement, but Dhanush retaliated by escalating the matter legally. However, a new issue has recently emerged.

The documentary used a clip from Nayanthara’s earlier super hit film Chandramukhi, starring Rajinikanth and Jyothika, without authorization. The producers of Chandramukhi have now sent a legal notice to Nayanthara and Netflix, seeking Rs. 5 crore in compensation for the illegal use of their content.

As these legal challenges unfold, fans and the industry eagerly await Nayanthara’s response to the latest controversy. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing situation.
