Controversial astrologer Venu Swamy is back in the news. Soon after the engagement of film stars Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, Venu Swamy released a video on his Instagram page, predicting the star couple’s future. Venu Swamy predicted that Chay and Sobhita’s relationship will end in 2027 due to another woman. Needless to say, netizens have been blasting and trolling Venu Swamy for his insensitive video on a couple who just got engaged.

In an effort to put an end to the non-stop trolling, Venu Swamy released yet another video and clarified that he predicted Chay-Sobhita’s future only as an extension of his prediction on Chay-Samantha’s future after their wedding a few years ago. “I had vowed to never predict film stars and politicians’ futures, and I will stick to my word. MAA President Manchu Vishnu has spoken to me, and I assured him that I will never predict film stars’ future,” said Venu Swamy.

Meanwhile, the Telugu Film Journalist Association (TFJA) has filed a police complaint against Venu Swamy for his insensitive video on Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala. It’s well known that Venu Swamy announced in June 2024 that he will stop predicting politicians’ futures after his prediction of YS Jagan’s victory in the general elections went horribly wrong.
