The horrific landslide in Kerala’s Wayanad has claimed over 300 lives. Condolences and prayers continue to pour in for the victims of the deadly natural disaster from all over the world. On the other hand, several celebrities are generously donating to the Kerala CM Relief Fund for the rescue and rehabilitation of the victims.

Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi landed in Kerala’s capital, Thiruvananthapuram, this afternoon and met the state’s Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan. Chiru handed over a cheque for Rs 1 crore to the CM. It’s well known that Chiru and his son Ram Charan announced their joint contribution of Rs 1 crore for the Kerala landslide victims on Sunday.

In his tweet last Sunday, Chiru said that he was deeply distressed by the devastation and loss of hundreds of precious lives in Kerala due to nature’s fury. “My heart goes out to the victims of the Wayanad tragedy. Charan and I together are contributing Rs 1 crore to the Kerala CM Relief Fund as a token of their support to the victims.
