Tollywood senior heroes Megastar Chiranjeevi and Victory Venkatesh are locking horns at the box office for Sankranti 2025. Chiranjeevi is coming up with the fantasy action drama Vishwambhara, while Venky, on the other hand, is set to entertain with a village drama. Bimbisara fame Vassishta is directing Vishwambhara, while blockbuster director Anil Ravipudi is helming Venkatesh’s movie.

Apart from these two films, the Telugu version of Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly is also confirmed for Sankranti 2025 release. Good Bad Ugly is being produced by Tollywood’s leading production house, Mythri Movie Makers. At the teaser launch event of Mathu Vadalara 2, Mythri producers were asked if Good Bad Ugly would have a parallel release in Telugu.

Mythri Ravi Shankar said, “Yeah, we are releasing Good Bad Ugly in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. As we are releasing the original version for Pongal 2025, we should also release the dubbed version simultaneously, though there is competition.” Interestingly, Chiru’s Waltair Veerayya and Ajith’s Thunivu clashed during the 2023 Sankranti season. It will be interesting to see this clash between the stalwarts of South cinema.
