Young actor-producer Niharika Konidela’s debut feature film as a producer, Committee Kurrollu, was released on August 9 and emerged as a smash hit at the box office worldwide. The film has successfully entered its third week, which is an impressive feat for a film of this scale and budget.

As per the latest updates, Committee Kurrollu has amassed a whopping gross of Rs 15.60 crore worldwide. The makers have increased additional screens for the film across the twin Telugu states, and the film is currently playing on more screens compared to the second week. Trade analysts predict that the film will surely hit the Rs 20 crore club by the end of its full run.

Committee Kurrollu is directed by debutant Yadhu Vamsi and it features an all-new cast. The nostalgic moments and the important social message the film offered have struck a chord with the young audience. Jayalakshmi Adapaka has co-produced the film under the SRD Studios banner. Anudeep Dev is the film’s music composer.
