Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty’s family entertainer, Manamey, was released in cinemas worldwide last Friday. The film received mixed responses from the audience, but the mixed reviews didn’t affect the box office collections. After a good jump on day 2, the film continued its promising run on day 3.
According to trade circles, the film collected around a gross of Rs. 8 crore on its first weekend. The film was slightly impacted by the India vs. Pakistan cricket match, affecting the collections on the third day, But the numbers are still considered good, given the feedback.
Sriram Adittya directed this film, featuring a talented ensemble cast, including Vikram Adittya, Seerat Kapoor, Ayesha Khan, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Rahul Ravindran, and Shiva Kandukuri in crucial roles. The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory. Hesham Abdul Wahab composed the tunes.
