Nani’s Dasara is up for a grand release on March 30 in multiple languages. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the movie is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas. Keerthy Suresh is the female lead. Dia fame Deekshith Shetty who played a key role, has shared interesting things about the film in his recent media interaction.
Deekshith Shetty said that Vinay, the co-director of the Meet Cute web series, has referred him for a character in Dasara. Deekshith noted that Nani also liked his performance in Meet Cute and thus he ended up being part of Dasara. The young actor further said he plays Suri, a close friend of Nani in Dasara, and added that he plays a full-length character in Dasara.
He said that Dasara further fetched him chances in three more films. Deekshith noted that he learned Telangana slang and worked extremely on his body language for the movie. Deekshith said that he learned a lot from Nani during the shoot. ‘Srikanth Odela doesn’t compromise until he gets what he wants and has a solid vision,’ said the Kannada actor.
Deekshith said he would be indebted to Dasara’s producer for believing in him and offering a crucial role. The actor revealed that even Kannada audiences are looking forward to Dasara and added that there are no linguistic barriers for movies these days.
