Actor Allu Arjun took to social media this evening and released a video message over the Sandhya 70mm tragedy that claimed the life of a woman named Revathi and left her son Sreetej critically injured during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule. The actor said that he is deeply heartbroken by the tragic incident at Sandhya and extended heartfelt condolences to the grieving family.
“I want to assure them they are not alone in this pain and will meet the family personally. While respecting their need for space to grieve, I stand committed to extend every possible assistance to help them navigate through this challenging journey,” said Allu Arjun.
Allu Arjun went on to say that he and the entire team of Pushpa 2 are deeply shocked and heartbroken by the tragedy and that they could not celebrate the film’s success. He also announced Rs 25 lakhs in financial assistance to the victims’ family. The actor urged everyone to take precautionary measures during such events to avoid any further tragedies.
