Kollywood star Dhanush is all set to captivate audiences with his upcoming pan-Indian action drama, Raayan. Directed by Dhanush himself, the film is slated for release on July 26, 2024, and features Telugu actor Sundeep Kishan in a crucial role.

The Telugu pre-release event for Raayan took place last night in Hyderabad, with Dhanush attending alongside several cast and crew members. During the event, Prakash Raj, who plays a key role in the film, revealed that Dhanush plans to direct a new project starring himself and Nithya Menen as the main leads.

If this comes to fruition, it will mark Dhanush’s fourth directorial venture. The trio last collaborated on Thiruchitrambalam (released as Thiru in Telugu). More details about this project will be revealed in the days to come.

Raayan boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including SJ Suryah, Kalidas Jayaram, Selvaraghavan, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film features music composed by AR Rahman.
