Following the disaster of Liger, acclaimed Tollywood director Puri Jagannadh announced Double Ismart, the sequel to iSmart Shankar, starring Ustaad Ram Pothineni. This highly anticipated pan-Indian film is set to hit theaters on August 15, 2024.
Last night, the trailer launch event for Double Ismart was held in Vizag, but fans were disappointed by the absence of director Puri Jagannadh. In a video message, Puri apologized to the audience for not being there and explained that he was in Mumbai, occupied with the film’s censor work and other commitments, which prevented him from attending. He expressed his admiration for Vizag and encouraged fans to enjoy the trailer.
Double Ismart features Kavya Thapar as the female lead, with an ensemble cast including Bani J, Ali, Getup Sreenu, Sayaji Shinde, Makrand Deshpande, and Temper Vamsi.
