Three years have passed since the release of Enjoy Enjaami, the sensational Tamil independent song featuring Dhee, Aruvi, and others. The track was composed and produced by Santhosh Narayanan, currently engaged in Prabhas’ highly anticipated movie, Kalki 2898 AD.
The composer shared some startling revelations about the track on this third anniversary. He disclosed that neither he nor the artists involved received any revenue from the song. Despite efforts to engage the music label Maajja, which counts AR Rahman among its founders, they were unable to secure compensation.
In a surprising twist, Santhosh Narayanan revealed that the same label had also taken over his own YouTube channel, depriving him of any revenue generated from it. In response, he committed to creating a better platform for indie musicians to release their work, as shared in an Instagram video post.
