Ticket hikes are now common for every Telugu biggie. However, the Devara team has come up with a unique pricing strategy in Nizam, which deserves applause. On the first day, the ticket fare will be Rs. 413 (Rs. 100 hike) in multiplexes, and for single screens, it will be Rs. 295 (Rs. 100 hike). However, the pricing will be different for the next nine days.
The ticket price will be Rs. 354 (Rs. 50 hike) in multiplexes and Rs. 206.5 (Rs. 25 hike) in single screens from day two to day nine. Reduced prices from the second day will surely boost the footfalls which is the need of the hour. Also, the affordable prices will encourage the family audience to visit theatres.
On the other hand, the Telangana government led by Revanth Reddy permitted seven shows for Devara on its opening day starting from 1 AM. These midnight shows are allowed in 29 theatres (mostly single screens). From the second day, the government allowed a total of five shows in Nizam. With these hiked prices and additional shows, Devara is expected to rake in a phenomenal opening.
