Esteemed actor Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is currently engrossed in several film projects, and his upcoming release, Merry Christmas, starring Katrina Kaif, is scheduled to grace the silver screen on January 12, 2024.

In a recent interview, Sethupathi disclosed his decision to distance himself from villainous and guest roles, citing their potential impact on his mainstream hero market. Fans are celebrating this resolution, expressing happiness for his deliberate choice.

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Merry Christmas is a bilingual production filmed in Hindi and Tamil. The Hindi version boasts an impressive cast, including Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand in pivotal roles. Simultaneously, the Tamil version features talents such as Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in significant roles.
