Thalapathy Vijay’s next on-screen appearance will be in the sci-fi action entertainer The GOAT, which is being directed by Venkat Prabhu. Vijay plays a dual role as a father and son, and the makers are using de-aging technology for the son role. Today, Vijay has turned a year older, and on this occasion, makers launched the first glimpse.
This 50-second glimpse focuses more on the action part involving a chase sequence. Vijay and his son are chased by a group of goons who start attacking the duo by opening fire at them. The father-son duo retaliate by firing against the villains. Their intro is shown through slow-motion shots with a peppy background score from Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The last part of this glimpse showcases a series of fast cuts, raising the curiosity levels. Vijay is shown as a scientist, and he seems to be the target of someone. The story isn’t revealed, but the visuals look solid with a neat background score. Meenakshi Chaudhary is the female lead. The second single will be out this evening.
