The first part of acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Vetri Maaran’s intense crime drama, Vidudalai, was released in cinemas on March 31 last year. Starring Soori as the protagonist and Vijay Sethupathi in a crucial role, the film was well received by critics and movie lovers alike. The film was released in Telugu as Vidudala by the leading production and distribution house, Geetha Arts.
Vidudala’s sequel, Vidudala 2, is gearing up for its theatrical release soon. Geetha Arts’ official X handle tweeted this afternoon that the first look poster of Vidudala 2 will be unveiled tomorrow (July 17) at 11:30 am along with the Tamil version’s first look poster. The film has a soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
Vidudala 2 also features Manju Warrier, Bhavani Sre, Kishore, Gautham Menon, Rajeev Menon, and Anurag Kashyap in key roles. The film is being produced jointly by Vetri Maaran and Elred Kumar. Stay tuned for the first look poster.
