Versatile actor Karthi scored a bumper hit during Diwali 2022 with the spy action thriller Sardar. It is known to all that a sequel to this successful film is on the cards. Here is a fresh update about Sardar 2.
The movie will go on floors during April 2024. Till then, Karthi will wrap up his existing projects, Nalan and the film with Prem Kumar. The script has been locked, and the pre-production works are currently in progress.
PS Mithran, who directed the first part, will wield the megaphone for the sequel as well. However, Yuvan Shankar is replacing GV Prakash Kumar as the music director. Prince Pictures will bankroll Sardar 2.
