Young hero Vishwak Sen’s period action drama, Gangs of Godavari, released on Friday to mixed reviews and a slow start at the box office. The film registered the biggest day 1 collection in Vishwak’s career so far. Even though the day 2 collections witnessed a slight drop, the Sunday collections were satisfactory.
As per the latest updates from the film’s PR team, Gangs of Godavari collected a decent first weekend share of Rs 6.62 crore in the Andhra, Rayalaseema, and Telangana regions. The makers enthusiastically claim that Gangs of Godavari has recovered over 70 percent of its investment within the first 3 days of its release.
