Anjali is doing back-to-back projects and her latest release is Bahishkarana, the crime web series on Zee 5. Well, the series has become a talking point for Anjali’s performance which is being appreciated by one and all.
She plays a prostitute in the series. Incidentally, Anjali played the same role in her last theatrical release Gangs of Godavari as well. Sadly, the Vishwak Sen film flopped at the box office.
When asked about the same in an interview, Anjali says that though the film flopped, she benefitted big time with the film. Anjali says that it was her character that won the hearts of many.
The star heroine adds that the responses, calls, and tweets that she got in appreciation for her performance never happened in her career, and she is quite happy about it. Gangs of Godavari was directed by Krishna Chaitanya and was produced by Sithara Entertainments.
