It looks like there’s no stopping Tollywood’s first-ever modern-day superhero flick, Hanu-Man. The Prasanth Varma directorial is going great guns in almost all the centres even in its second week at the box office. And the film pulled off an unexpected feat in the Nizam region yesterday.
On its day 10, Hanu-Man collected a cool Rs 2.74 crore share (excl GST) at the cinemas across the Nizam region. What’s stunning is that the 10th day collection is the highest of all other days since the film’s release in Nizam. In its 10-day theatrical run so far, Hanu-Man has collected a whopping Rs 21.28 crore share (excl GST) from about 6,150 shows in Nizam. Till date, over 20.30 lakh audiences have seen this visual spectacle in Nizam.
Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar played key roles in this Niranjan Reddy production. Released as a Sankranthi festive treat, Hanu-Man has turned out to be the 5th all-time highest grossing Telugu movie in North America.
