Mr. Bachchan, headlined by Ravi Teja, is now out in theatres. The film had paid premiers yesterday evening, and the reports are below par. Harish Shankar has become the target for trollers since he added too many changes to this remake. Keeping the content aside, a still from Mr. Bachchan is now doing rounds on social media.
This still is from Sitar Song featuring Ravi Teja and Bhagyasri Borse and it is highly problematic to watch. Sekhar Master composed the dance moves, and his choreography has not gone well with the netizens. The team conducted a success meet this evening, during which Harish Shankar was asked about the vulgar dance movement.
Harish Shankar replied, “That step was filmed on the first day of the shoot. When we see a dance movement in a flow, it won’t look vulgar or problematic. But when you capture it and release as a poster it will obviously look bad. Any dance movement from any song can be projected in a bad manner by taking a screenshot.”
Harish Shankar added, “When Sekhar Master composed that step, I felt it wasn’t encouraging. But he might feel low if I suggest some changes on the very first day of the shoot. I was busy setting up everything. Still, I felt it wasn’t necessary. But as it happens in a flow, it passed the censorship too.”
