After 37 years since the release of the iconic gangster drama, Nayagan, legendary Kollywood actor-filmmaker duo Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam joined forces with each other for the second time. Their second project, a pan-India gangster drama titled Thug Life, is one of the most eagerly awaited biggies in India.
Thug Life makers took to social media this evening and announced that the film’s shooting has been wrapped up. A video shared by the movie’s unit has Mani Ratnam saying, “It’s a wrap.” The mahes also revealed that Thug Life’s post-production work is all set to commence soon. More details about the movie will be out in the coming days.
Thug Life is being produced under Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies and Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International banners. Simbu, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Abhirami, Nasser, Ali Fazal, and others will be seen in crucial roles in the movie. AR Rahman, Sreekar Prasad, and Ravi K Chandran handled the film’s music, editing, and cinematography, respectively.
