Telugu suspense thriller Kshanam, featuring Adivi Sesh, Adah Sharma, and Anasuya, was a solid hit at the ticket windows. The movie garnered highly positive reviews from critics and was a turning point in Sesh’s career. The script was penned by Adivi Sesh himself, and later it was remade in Hindi as Baaghi 2 with Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani playing the lead roles.

In a recent interview, Adivi Sesh revealed how a real-life incident inspired him to pen Kshanam’s story. Adivi Sesh said, “People used to tell me I look like a North Indian. Though I was part of Baahubali, I wanted to prove my mettle. I didn’t plan Kshanam and it was a coincidence. One day, I was driving on the roads of Hyderabad. I saw two 4-year-old girls in their school uniform. I was very scared. There was no one there on the road, and I thought someone would easily kidnap them.”

Sesh continued, “I put the kids in my car and asked them which school they were studying. The auto taking them had broken down. Later, I took the kids to their school. I lost my cool and started shouting at the principal about their irresponsible behavior. I was very much worried about the kids’ safety. The principal told me that children walk to school all the time. That’s when a thought struck my head. What if a little girl goes missing? That’s how Kshanam started.”
