Patang, produced by Cinematic Elements and Rishaan Cinemas and helmed by debutant Praneeth Prattipati, is the first film in Indian cinema to be set in the backdrop of a kite-flying competition. Instagram sensation Preethi Pagadala, Zee Saregama Runner-up Pranav Kaushik, and Vamsi Pujit are playing the lead roles.
Lyricist Chandrabose and director Anudeep K.V. launched a new song from the film, Hey Hello Namasthe, on Saturday at an event. The song, composed by Jose Jimmy, captures the essence of friendship and the vibe of the bustling city of Hyderabad.
Shankar Mahadevan’s vocals are magnificent, and the team believes that this song will become the Hyderabad anthem. Singer S.P Charan, who previously appeared in Saroja, is making a comeback with this film.
